<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform linear compensation including temperature compensation of individual VCOs by utilizing the VCOs themselves with a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: A control unit 20 supplies two types of voltage (V1, V2) to a VCO 10, detects two types of frequency (f1, f2) of output signal from the VCO 10 for the two types of voltage (V1, V2), and determines the coefficients (a, b) of a straight line (f=aV+b (a is the slope, b is the segment)), where the abscissa axis is voltage (V) and the ordinate axis is frequency (f). Subsequently, the control unit 20 determines a voltage (Vo) when the frequency of the output signal from the VCO 10 becomes (Fo) according to an operation expression (Vo=(Fo-b)/a), and supplies the voltage (Vo) thus determined to the VCO 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
