<p>The present invention provides a container inspection device capable of having a compact device structure and illuminating the inside of an opening of a container using inspection light suitable for an inspection. An inspection device (1) for inspecting at least an opening (101) of a preform (100) is provided with: a holding unit (32) that has a holder (32a), which is composed from a light diffusion member and is inserted into the inside of the opening (101), and holds the upper end of the opening (101); and an illumination device (21) that has a light emission unit (21a), which irradiates the inside of the holder (32a), and illuminates the opening (101) with the inspection light via the holder (32).</p> |
