<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of settling solid components in rice washing drainage in which residues are reduced after treatment by easy operation and the separated solid components can be reused. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of settling solid components in rice washing drainage, yeast having a settling property is mixed in the rice washing drainage, the solid components contained in the rice washing drainage are made to adhere to the yeast, and the solid components and the yeast are settled together to perform solid-liquid separation. As the operation is easy and a flocculant such as a water-soluble aluminum salt is not used, there is less treated residue. Further, no harmful substance is added, the solid components that are flocculated and settled are high in safety and can be reused as raw material for functional food and ethanol. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
