<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curtain wall that attains reduction both in a heating load and in a cooling load. <P>SOLUTION: The curtain wall includes a surface member partitioning the indoors from the outdoors and having light transmitting property; a frame body for holding the peripheral edge part of the face member; and a shading member joined to the outdoor side of the frame body and shading solar radiation toward the indoor side.
