Transport device for load holders and method for controlling the same

The device (1) has an electrical drive for guiding, transporting and lifting loading equipment e.g. pallet. A supporting part (2) receives the loading equipment. The drive and a control and power supply unit (14) are arranged inside a spatial region of the supporting part. The supporting part completely underrides the loading equipment. Two shafts (4, 5) are provided at a distance from each other and tiltable with respect to the supporting part. The shafts have separate wheels (6-9) that are driven by respective electrical drive units (10-13) e.g. electric motors. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling a transport device.
