The present invention relates to a signal processing circuit for a touch screen to process a sensing signal outputted from a touch screen panel and a control method thereof to run an operation for compensating for an integral signal corresponding to a pulse including noise in a sensing signal if the pulse exists. According to the present invention, the signal processing circuit for a touch screen comprises: a sensing signal receiving circuit which receives a sensing signal including a plurality of periodic pulses outputted from the coupling capacitor of a touch screen, provides a noise detection signal corresponding to the detection result of noise included in the pulses of the sensing signal, and produces a first integral signal for the sensing signal; and a compensating circuit to produce a second integral signal which is a compensation of the first signal with the use of the noise detection signal. |
