METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING TITANIUM SHEET

Disclosed is a method to manufacture a titanium sheet. The method to manufacture a titanium sheet comprises: a step of hot-rolling a high-purity titanium slab; a step of hot band annealing the rolled sheet; a step of removing at least a part of an oxidized layer formed on the surface layer of the rolled sheet in accordance to the hot band annealing, and an oxygen enrichment layer formed under the oxidized layer; a step of cold-rolling the rolled sheet from which at least a part of the oxidized layer and the oxygen enrichment layer is removed; and a step of cold band annealing the cold-rolled sheet using a vacuum annealing method. The present invention can obtain excellent formability in a process of machining a sheet into a complex shape using a press forming method by obtaining the machining characteristics of the titanium sheet used to a heat exchanger facility and others. Also, the present invention can improve the quality by optimizing a manufacturing process on commercial titanium products.
