摘要

To provide a storage device with low power consumption. The storage device includes a plurality of cache lines. Each of the cache lines includes a data field which stores cache data; a tag which stores address data corresponding the cache data; and a valid bit which stores valid data indicating whether the cache data stored in the data field is valid or invalid. Whether power is supplied to the tag and the data field in each of the cache lines is determined based on the valid data stored in the valid bit.

a cache line; and a first wiring configured to be supplied with a first power supply potential, wherein the cache line includes:
a data field comprising a first memory cell and a first transistor;a tag comprising a second memory cell and a second transistor; anda valid bit, wherein the first memory cell is electrically connected to the first wiring through the first transistor, wherein the second memory cell is electrically connected to the first wiring through the second transistor, and wherein gates of the first transistor and the second transistor are electrically connected to the valid bit.
