Disclosed is a fault current limiter. The fault current limiter according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a switch which comprises a main circuit and opens a contact point when a fault current is inputted, a limiting device which is connected in parallel to the switch and limits the fault current when the fault current is inputted, and a diode which is serially connected to the limiting device. The conduction voltage of the diode is higher than a voltage drop by the impedance of the main circuit. |
