摘要 The disclosed present invention relates to a method for improving work efficiency of a stacker crane in a secondary battery activation process and an apparatus thereof. A control means moves a tray to be inspected, which is located in a waiting space for inspection, to an inspection location by controlling the operation of a stacker crane, controls the tray moved to the inspection location to be electrically connected to a mass discharger, and performs an activation process of each battery pack provided in the tray by the mass discharger. In addition, the control means subsequently performs a discharge operation, a voltage stabilization operation, an SOC resetting operation, which has limited work time and stops the operation by generating an error code when a channel having contact failure occurs, and a two-fork condition satisfaction waiting time operation, which enables the stacker crane to be transferred at the same time by waiting for the SOC resetting operation of two trays to be completed within a limited period of time. The control means moves a tray, which has completed the activation process, to an inspection completion space by controlling the operation of the stacker crane and repeatedly carries out the operations until the activation process of all trays to be inspected is terminated. Therefore, the present invention is capable of solving logistics congestion caused by a decreased work efficiency of a conventional stacker crane, greatly shortening the time of an activation process, and minimizing the logistics waiting time due to the shortening of the processing time.
