Disclosed is a head-up display apparatus. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the head-up display apparatus comprises: a head-up display unit including a first area which displays normal driving information, and a second area which displays surrounding environment interlocking information; a position information obtaining unit obtaining position information of an obstacle in front of a vehicle; and a control unit controlling the head-up display unit to display surrounding environment interlocking information on the first area if the obstacle in front of the vehicle exists in the predetermined first distance. |
