The present invention relates to a selective culture medium for Escherichia coli. More specifically, the culture medium composition for E. coli which includes either or both of the yeast extract (YE) and casein enzymic hydrolysate (CHE) as a nitrogen nutrient source and a culture medium thereof. The composition can additionally incudes 5-bromo-4-chloro-3-indolyl-beta-D-glucopyranoside (X-glu) as an additive factor. The present invention can precisely differentiate and culture E. coil at a high recovery rate. |
