According to an embodiment of the present invention, the structure of an oil level detecting sensor can be simplified and miniaturized as a connecting pin connected with a detecting unit arranged inside a compressor is simply designed to penetrate the compressor. In addition, as the circumference of a connecting unit to penetrate the compressor is minimized, the internal pressure of the compressor can be stably kept. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the device comprises: a detection unit including a first polar plate prepared in the compressor and made of solid metal and a second polar plate made of solid metal and separated from the first polar plate; and a single connecting pin which connects to the detection unit at one end and penetrates the compressor and connects to a signal detection unit at the other end. The device determines whether the oil level in the compressor is less than the proper level by checking the change in current capacitance quantity in the detection unit.
