1. An ice making system for making flavored ice pieces comprising:
a vessel that stores a flavoring; a source of water; a mixing device that mixes said flavoring with the water to produce a flavored liquid; a pump that controls a flow of said flavored liquid to a reservoir; an ice machine comprising an ice making evaporator and an augur centrally disposed within said evaporator, wherein said ice machine receives said flavored liquid from said reservoir and produces said flavored ice pieces; a storage bin for storing said flavored ice pieces; and a refrigeration system that refrigerates said vessel and said flavoring and that regulates a temperature in said storage bin to reduce leaching of said flavored liquid from said flavored ice pieces.
