The present invention relates to a method for providing online card services which utilizes a hybrid smart card comprising both a general legacy payment channel (e.g., a magnetic strip and a contact type IC chip) and a near field communications (NFC) payment channel to link a card payment system using the legacy payment channel and a smart payment system using the near field communications payment channel. According to the present invention, a smart terminal can be intuitively provided with online card services via near field communication with the hybrid smart card. The smart terminal utilizes a scramble and a descramble function of a security module loaded on the hybrid smart card to guarantee the same level of security as for the hybrid smart card for information exchanged between the smart terminal and a financial company server to perform online card services such as online payment, checking a balance, viewing a payment history list, etc. without installing a public verification certificate on the smart terminal. |
