<p>[Problem] Provided are a medical waste sterilizer that easily sorts sterilized medical waste, requires a low cost for heating oil, has a high treatment efficiency of medical waste, moves a top lid and a treatment basket with one moving means, and can further accurately place the treatment basket on a sterilization stage in an oil tank, and a sterilization system using the same. [Solution] Included are an oil tank having a top lid and storing oil at the bottom, a heating means that heats the oil in the oil tank to 90oC to 120oC at which plastic materials in medical waste are not melted, an input chute in which the bottom thereof is inserted from a window formed at the top of the oil tank to an interior space of the oil tank; a treatment basket that is suspended from the top lid via a suspending member and receives the slid off medical waste from the input chute at the interior space of the oil tank; a top lid moving means that operates to open and close the top lid and moves the treatment basket between a sterilization stage and a waste removal stage, and a elevating guide member that is arranged in the interior space of the oil tank and guides the vertical hoisting and lowering of the treatment basket at the sterilization stage.</p> |
