<p>The method involves recording time and place data regarding acceleration and braking maneuvers for vehicles by a communication device, and evaluating chronological progression of acceleration and braking maneuvers of specific vehicle. The received reports regarding specific type of traffic characteristic and location are evaluated in central data collection point and traffic characteristic is classified at corresponding location when threshold number of similar reports from users regarding specific type of traffic characteristic at a certain location is exceeded. An independent claim is included for a traffic control system.</p> |
