The present invention relates to a genetic marker for predicting carcass yield grade of Korean cattle, a kit, a microarray, and a method for predicting carcass yield grade of Korean cattle using the same and, more specifically, to a method for predicting carcass yield grade of Korean cattle by measuring the expression of a muscle fat-specific matrix metallopeptidase 2 (MMP2) gene, a matrix metallopeptidase 7 (MMP7) gene, and a collagen type-I alpha-2 (COL1A2) gene, which are correlated to the carcass yield grade of Korean cattle. The genetic marker for predicting carcass yield grade of Korean cattle, the kit, the microarray, and the method for predicting carcass yield grade of Korean cattle using the same according to the present invention are used to predict and determine the carcass yield grade of Korean cattle in advance, and the gene marker for detecting expression of gene specific to muscle fat tissues of Korean cattle is used to control fat concentration of Korean cattle produced. |
