The present invention provides a control unit for heavy equipment, which comprises: a main body having a communication module for wireless communication with spaced heavy equipment; a head having a control panel to control the heavy equipment; and a control lever installed in an upper side of the main body, wherein the head is attached and detached to an upper side, and having a recognition module for recognizing a type of the head.
