PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel consolidated device in which external beam radiation treatment and magnetic resonance image diagnosis (MRI) are combined.SOLUTION: A radiation treatment system includes a radiation source for generating a radiation beam, and a magnetic resonance image diagnosis device. An interface operates between the radiation source and the MRI device so as to allow the radiation and imaging to be conducted simultaneously. The MRI device and the radiation source are coupled so that the system can be operated in a rotation mode where the radiation source can apply the radiation ray to a subject from substantially any angle, without degrading the quality of MRI images.
