<p>Provided is a gas circuit breaker that exhibits improved reliability and in which rigidity is increased and weight is reduced in a movable section of an actuator. The gas circuit breaker is provided with: a fixed contact; a movable contact that is brought into contact with and separated from the fixed contact; an insulating rod (81) that is connected to the end section of the movable contact; a breaker section that has therein the fixed contact and the movable contact and that comprises a metal container (1) into which an insulating gas is sealed; a movable element (23) that alternately reverses the magnetic poles of a permanent magnet or a magnetic body and that is arranged coaxially with the axis of motion of the movable contact; a stator that is arranged so as to face the movable element (23) and that is configured from a plurality of magnetic poles that comprise a winding; and an operation unit comprising a movable element unit (24) in which a plurality of the movable elements (23) are arranged side by side in the vertical direction with respect to the axis of motion. The gas circuit breaker is characterized by comprising a connecting section (500) that connects the plurality of movable elements (23) to the insulating rod (81).</p> |
