The image processing method includes the steps of: extracting at least one feature point of an object from a reference image including the object; acquiring a local patch area including the extracted feature point; generating at least one scaled image by scaling the local patch area; and acquiring a descriptor including the feature information regarding the feature point based on the scaled image and the local patch area.
