PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicament composition containing a mixed metal compound having an action of neutralizing or buffering stomach acid.SOLUTION: The mixed metal compound contains at least one trivalent metal selected from iron (III) and aluminium and at least one divalent metal selected from magnesium, iron, zinc, calcium, lanthanum, and cerium, wherein (A) the mixed metal compound is a salt represented by the composition formula (I), and/or (B) the mixed metal compound is provided in the form of a granular material comprising (i) a specific weight or less of the mixed metal compound, (ii) non-chemically bound water in a specific weight range, and (iii) a specific weight or less of an excipient.
