PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide audio equipment enabling setting of input impedance and a gain to fit to source equipment connected to an input terminal.SOLUTION: The audio equipment includes an input terminal 11 to which source equipment 2 is connected, an audio amplifier 1, a test signal generator 16, a return signal analyzer and a changeover switch. The changeover switch connects the input terminal to the audio amplifier at normal operation, whereas connects the input terminal to the test signal generator and the return signal analyzer at the discrimination of source equipment. At the discrimination of source equipment, the test signal generator generates a test signal, and the return signal analyzer discriminates source equipment on the basis of a return signal returning to the input terminal. |
