<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent leakage of grease accompanying respiration action.SOLUTION: A bearing unit 1 is constituted by assembling a capped bearing 20 to a bearing housing 10. A ventilation groove 31 going around in the circumferential direction is formed in an outer peripheral face of an outer ring 21, a plurality of outer ring ventilation holes 32 communicating an internal space with the ventilation groove 31 are formed in the outer ring 21, and a bearing housing ventilation hole 33 communicating an external space with the ventilation groove 31 is formed in the bearing housing 10. A ventilation structure 30 is constituted by the ventilation groove 31, the outer ring ventilation holes 32, and the bearing housing ventilation hole 33. Since inflow and outflow of the air by respiration action is performed by the ventilation structure 30, leakage of grease from a lip portion of an oil seal 24 can be prevented.</p> |
