PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device capable of easily obtaining an image of a suitable composition by automatic trimming with the orientation of each subject considered therein.SOLUTION: The image processing device comprises: trimming means to cut out a part of an image obtained by imaging; composition setting means for setting a composition for trimming by the trimming means; subject detection means capable of detecting plural subjects from the image; and subject orientation determination means for determining the facing orientation of each of the subjects detected by the subject detection means. The composition setting means sets the composition on the basis of the result determined by the subject orientation determination means.
