A wireless terminal device (1) used in a store-and-forward wireless network has a wireless communication unit (11), a memory (12), and a control unit (13). The memory (12) is linked to the wireless communication unit (11), and is configured to save multiple messages that are transferred in the wireless network. The control unit (13) is configured to adjust, on the basis of first information, the maximum number or the maximum storage length of the messages saved in the memory (12). The first information pertains to the extent to which the wireless terminal device (1) contributed to the success of transferring messages from a transmission-source node to a destination node via the wireless network. As a consequence, it is possible to provide, for example, an efficient memory control method which is suitable for a store-and-forward wireless network. |
