Hand-Held Rotisserie Device

A hand held rotisserie device is disclosed having a handle with a rod extending outward from a distal end of the handle, wherein a longitudinal axis of the handle and a longitudinal axis of a proximal end of the rod are substantially parallel. A distal end of the rod has an offset member oriented substantially parallel to a proximal end of the rod and disposed laterally away from the proximal end of the rod. A rotatable assembly is disposed on a distal end of the rod, wherein the rotatable assembly is oriented to rotate in a direction substantially parallel with a longitudinal axis of the offset member. A food attachment device is coupled to the rotatable assembly and a drive mechanism is coupled to the handle and the rotatable assembly.

1. A rotisserie device for cooking products over an open fire comprising:
a handle having a rod extending outwardly away from the handle, wherein a distal end of the rod comprises an end member that is disposed parallel to, but not collinear with the rod; a rotatable assembly disposed on the distal end of the rod oriented substantially non-parallel to the rod; and a rotatable drive attached to the handle and operatively coupled to the rotatable assembly configured to turn the rotatable assembly as the rotatable drive is turned.
