Class 20(2) An angle member, Fig. 2, is provided with one row B-B of circular holes 4 in one flange 2 and at least two rows C-C, D-D in the other flange 3, the distances between the rows B-B and C-C and the edge 5 being the same as that between the rows C-C, D-D and optional row E-E. In a channel member, Fig. 3, there are one row in each flange 2 and three rows in the web 3 and in an open box member, Fig. 7, there are two rows in each flange 2, three or four rows in the web 3 and one row in each flange extension 13. In the row B-B in a flange 2, smaller and larger holes are arranged alternately, while in the other flange or web, the holes in alternate rows are of the smaller or larger size 6, 7 respectively. The spacing of the holes 7 in row D-D is double and that of the holes 9 in row E-E is four times that of the spacing in rows B-B and C-C, and the holes in row E-E are out of alignment with those in row D-D. The holes in rows C-C may also be double-spaced. Connecting strips or angle members may be provided with one row of alternately smaller and larger holes in the strip or each flange and the spacing may be the same as #2 times that in row B-B. |
