Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for controlling an intelligent terminal. The method of the present invention comprises: a server sending, to a second terminal in a communications connection with to the server, a second terminal's to-be-controlled use mode type and a corresponding control parameter thereof and/or a to-be-controlled application program type and a corresponding control parameter thereof that are preset by a user of a first terminal, so that when a current use mode of the user on the second terminal is a preset to-be-controlled use mode type, the second terminal controls the current use mode according to control parameters corresponding to the current use mode; and/or when a current application program used by the user in the second terminal is a preset to-be-controlled application program type, the second terminal controls the current application program according to control parameters corresponding to the current application program. The use of an intelligent terminal and an application program thereof are limited, thereby well achieving the effect that a user uses the intelligent terminal. |
