The invention relates to a method for conveying bulk material by means of a conveying device having a conveying channel and at least two conveying elements (266, 269) located loosely in the conveying channel. The conveying elements are mechanically driven in the direction of conveyance in a first segment of the conveying channel, before bulk material is delivered to the conveying channel in a second segment of the conveying channel. The bulk material is conveyed to a third segment of the conveying channel by way of movement of the conveying elements along the direction of conveyance, wherein in said third segment of the conveying channel, the first conveying element (269) is pushed through the conveying channel in the direction of conveyance by the second conveying element (266) and/or the bulk material. The invention further relates to a conveying device for carrying out said method. |
