The present invention relates to a method for loading USB communication ports or modules in the optimal sequence with respect to the final operation environment of a device while booting the device which includes a USB communication hub and the device employing the method. According to the present invention, the device includes: the USB ports or USB communication modules connected to the USB hub; a reset control switch which is arranged between the USB hub and the USB ports or the USB communication modules and is turned on or off by a reset signal applied during a booting operation; and a main control unit controlling the USB hub.
