<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, since a conventional planar heater lacks chemical resistance, water proofness and corrosion resistance, an application field is limited and a planar heater formed by molding lacks flexibility.SOLUTION: The planar heater includes: a foil-like, plate-like, linear or fibrous metal heating element 1; a lead wire 2 connected to a heating element side terminal part 1a of this metal heating element 1; and two heat-sealable fluororesin films 3 and 3 which are heat-sealed with each other while holding the metal heating element 1 and a distal end portion 2a of the lead wire 2 therebetween. The distal end portion 2a of the lead wire 2 includes: a conductor exposed portion 4 including a lead wire side terminal portion 4a connected to the heating element side terminal part 1a; and a distal end portion 5a of a conductor cover part 5. A cover member of the distal end portion 5a of the conductor cover part 5 is formed from a heat-sealable material.</p> |
