<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door latch device in which occurrence of operation failure can be prevented at a low cost.SOLUTION: In a door latch device 1 which comprises a latch mechanism (fork and claw) that engages with a striker provided at a vehicle body (or door) and can release the engagement situation, a door-opening mechanism (first open lever 16, second open lever 17, etc.) that can open-operate the latch mechanism by operating an operation part for door opening, and an actuator 5 that actuates the door-opening mechanism (or latch mechanism), the actuator 5 comprises a housing 24 which houses a motor inside, and a cover which covers above the latch mechanism is provided integrally at the housing 24 of the actuator 5.</p> |
