A charge/discharge system comprising a control device that controls a power conversion device interposed between a capacitor and a secondary battery that are connected in parallel. The control device comprises: a required power calculation unit that arithmetically calculates the required I/O power for a power generator, on the basis of the current and voltage of the capacitor and the I/O current of the power conversion device; a capacitor discharge bias coefficient map that prescribes the ratio of power supplied to the power generator from the capacitor, out of the required input power for the power generator; a capacitor charge bias coefficient map that prescribes the ratio of power charged from the power generator to the capacitor, out of the required output power for the power generator; and a subtraction unit that subtracts the charge/discharge power for the capacitor from the required I/O power and arithmetically calculates the charge/discharge power for the secondary battery.
