A perfume comprising an optional solvent and a perfume raw material selected from the group consisting of:a) a perfume raw material having the following structure: wherein R1 is selected from the group consisting of: (i) CHO(ii) CR3R4OR5 wherein R3, R4 and R5 are each independently selected from a group consisting of hydrogen, a straight or branched C1-C5 alkyl moiety, straight or branched C2-C5 alkenyl moiety, a straight or branched C2-C5 alkyl moiety comprising a ketone moiety, and a straight or branched C2-C5 alkenyl moiety comprising a ketone moiety; wherein R2 is selected from the group consisting of: (i) hydrogen;(ii) a straight or branched C1-C6 alkyl moiety;(iii) a straight or branched C2-C6 alkenyl moiety; and(iv) a straight or branched C2-C6 alkyne moiety;b) a perfume raw material having the following structure: wherein R1 is selected from the group consisting of: (i) CHO(ii) CR4R5OR6 wherein R4, R5 and R6 are each independently selected from a group consisting of hydrogen, a straight or branched C1-C5 alkyl moiety, straight or branched C2-C5 alkenyl moiety, a straight or branched C2-C5 alkyl moiety comprising a ketone moiety, and a straight or branched C2-C5 alkenyl moiety comprising a ketone moiety; wherein R2 and R3 are each independently selected from a group consisting of: (iv) a straight or branched C1-C6 alkyl moiety;(v) a straight or branched C2-C6 alkenyl moiety;(vi) a straight or branched C2-C6 alkyne moiety; or when R2 and R3 are taken together, R2 and R3, form a ring structure;c) a perfume raw material having the following structure: wherein R1 is selected from the group consisting of: (iv) a nitrile moiety;(v) C═OR where R is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, a straight or branched C1-C5 alkyl moiety, a straight or branched C2-C5 alkenyl moiety, and R2 and R3, form a ring structure selected from cyclopropane, cyclobutane, cyclopentane, or cyclohexane; or R1 is methylketone, and R2 and R3 are each methyl.d) a perfume raw material having the following structure: wherein R1 is selected from the group consisting of: (i) a straight or branched C1-C6 alkyl moiety;(ii) a straight or branched C2-C6 alkenyl moiety;(iii) a straight or branched C2-C6 alkyne moiety;(iv) COR5 where R5 is selected from the group consisting of a straight or branched C1-C5 alkyl moiety, a straight or branched C2-C5 alkenyl moiety;(v) COOR5 where R5 is selected from a group consisting of a straight or branched C1-C5 alkyl moiety, a straight or branched C2-C5 alkenyl moiety; wherein R2 is selected from the group consisting of: (i) hydrogen;(ii) a straight or branched C1-C6 alkyl moiety;(iii) a straight or branched C2-C4 alkenyl moiety; and(iv) a straight or branched C2-C6 alkyne moiety; wherein R3 and R4 are each independently selected from a group consisting of: (i) a straight or branched C1-C6 alkyl moiety;(ii) a straight or branched C2-C4 alkenyl moiety;(iii) a straight or branched C2-C6 alkyne moiety; or when R3 and R4 are taken together, R3 and R4 form a ring structure;e) a perfume raw material having the following structure: wherein R1 is selected from the group consisting of: 1. CHO;2. CN;3. COR4 wherein R4 is selected from the group consisting of a straight or branched C1-C6 alkyl moiety; a straight or branched C2-C6 alkenyl moiety; a straight or branched C2-C6 alkyne moiety; a non-substituted phenyl moiety; a substituted phenyl moiety, in one aspect, said substituted phenyl moiety may comprise a substitutent selected from methyl and/or ethyl;(iv) CR5R6OR7 wherein R5, R6 and R7 are each independently selected from a group consisting of hydrogen, a straight or branched C1-C5 alkyl moiety, a straight or branched C2-C5 alkenyl moiety, a straight or branched C2-C5 alkyl moiety comprising a ketone moiety, and a straight or branched C2-C5 alkenyl moiety comprising a ketone moiety;(v) COOR5 where R8 is selected from a group consisting of a straight or branched C1-C5 alkyl moiety, a straight or branched C2-C5 alkenyl moiety; wherein R2 is selected from the group consisting of: (i) a straight or branched C1-C6 alkyl moiety;(ii) a straight or branched C2-C6 alkenyl moiety;(iii) a straight or branched C2-C6 alkyne moiety; and(iv) CH2-cyclopropyl wherein R3 is selected from the group consisting of: (i) a straight or branched C1-C6 alkyl moiety;(ii) a straight or branched C2-C6 alkenyl moiety;(iii) a straight or branched C2-C6 alkyne moiety; and R2 and R3 are taken together, R2 and R3 form a ring structure;f) a perfume raw material having the following structure:wherein R1 and R2 are each independently selected from the group consisting of: (i) a straight or branched C1-C6 alkyl moiety; (ii) a straight or branched C2-C4 alkenyl moiety; (iii) a straight or branched C2-C6 alkyne moiety; andwhen R1 and R2 are taken together, R1 and R2 form a ring structure; andg) a perfume raw material having the following structure: wherein R1 is selected from the group consisting of: (i) CHO;(ii) a nitrile moiety;(vi) COR4 wherein R4 is selected from the group consisting of a straight or branched C1-C6 alkyl moiety; a straight or branched C2-C6 alkenyl moiety; a straight or branched C2-C6 alkyne moiety; a non-substituted phenyl moiety; a substituted phenyl moiety, in one aspect, said substituted phenyl moiety may comprise a substitutent selected from methyl and/or ethyl;(iv) CR5R6OR7 wherein R5, R6 and R7 are each independently selected from a group consisting of hydrogen, a straight or branched C1-C5 alkyl moiety, a straight or branched C2-C5 alkenyl moiety, a straight or branched C2-C5 alkyl moiety comprising a ketone moiety, and a straight or branched C2-C5 alkenyl moiety comprising a ketone moiety;(v) COOR8 where R8 is selected from a group consisting of a straight or branched C1-C5 alkyl moiety, a straight or branched C2-C5 alkenyl moiety; wherein R2 is selected from the group consisting of: (i) a straight or branched C1-C6 alkyl moiety;(ii) a straight or branched C2-C6 alkenyl moiety;(iii) a straight or branched C2-C6 alkyne moiety; and(iv) CH2-cyclopropyl wherein R3 is selected from the group consisting of: (i) a straight or branched C1-C6 alkyl moiety;(ii) a straight or branched C2-C6 alkenyl moiety;(iii) a straight or branched C2-C6 alkyne moiety; and when R2 and R3 are taken together, R2 and R3 form a ring structure; with the proviso that the perfume raw material is not 3-((1R,5S)-6,6-dimethylbicyclo[3.1.1]hept-2-en-2-yl)-2,2-dimethylpropanal.
