Disclosed is a method for reducing measurement signaling in an LTE network. At an eNB side, the method comprises: receiving a reported measurement result comprising a physical cell identifier of an adjacent cell; mapping the physical cell identifier of the adjacent cell; and determining and sending a physical cell identifier, on which mapping fails, of the adjacent cell. Further disclosed is a method for reducing measurement signaling in an LTE network. At a UE side, the method comprises: measuring signal strength of a serving cell and an adjacent cell and reporting a measurement result; and when performing measurement and reporting again after receiving a physical cell identifier, on which mapping fails, of an adjacent cell, skipping measuring a physical cell of the adjacent cell corresponding to the physical cell identifier, on which mapping fails, of the adjacent cell. Further disclosed are an eNB, a UE, a system for reducing measurement signaling in an LTE network, and three storage mediums. |
