<p> Provided is an artificial soil medium that is capable of preventing scattering and outflow of artificial soil particles and reliably supporting a tall plant or a plant growth body while maintaining a space for plant root growth, the artificial soil medium not being limited in terms of location of use. An artificial soil medium (100) obtained by clumping artificial soil particles (50), wherein the artificial soil medium (100) contains granules (11) having protrusions (10) on the surfaces thereof and a fiber body (1) having a fiber length equal to or greater than the size of the protrusions (10). The granules (11) are obtained by granulating short fibers having a fiber length equal to or smaller than that of the fiber body (1). Parts of the short fibers are exposed on the surface of the granules (11) as protrusions.</p> |
