APPARATUS AND METHOD OF PRODUCING STRATIFIED COMPOSITE MATERIAL

The present invention relates to a device and a method to manufacture a stratified composite material capable of improving a quality of a stratified composite material finally manufactured by maintaining a liquefied material formed in a conductive tundish at a constant height. According to the present invention, the device to manufacture a stratified composite material comprises: a pair of roller parts for rolling solid plate materials to be passed, and a liquefied material supply part to supply the liquefied material between the solid plate materials passing the pair of roller parts. The liquefied material supply part comprises: a crucible having a tapping valve to discharge the received liquefied material; a conductive tundish receiving the liquefied material through the tapping valve having a tapping slot formed in correspondence to a width of the solid plate materials to supply the liquefied material between the solid plate materials passing the pair of roller parts; a plurality of height detection electrodes arranged inside the conductive tundish while being positioned at each different heights; and a control part to control the opening degree of the tapping valve in accordance to the conduction state of the conductive tundish, conducted by the liquefied material received in the conductive tundish, and the plurality of height detection electrodes.
