<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel aquaporin and an aquaglyceroporin hyperfunction agent.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to aquaporin and an aquaglyceroporin hyperfunction agent which contain hyaluronic acid or a salt thereof as an active ingredient. The hyperfunction agent of the invention accelerates the function of aquaporin, and is useful as a therapeutic agent for nephrogenic diabetes insipidus, diuresis, dermal dryness, pruritus, skin ulcer, wound, obesity, or fatty liver, a water absorption promoter in small and large intestine, a secretion promoter in an eye, oral cavity, nasal mucosa, and trachea, or a lubricant of vagina.</p> |
