Upon rear-end collision of a vehicle, an arm portion (26A), positioned in a low-strength region (S1) of a vehicle body strength distribution, of a cross member (26) on a vehicle rear side of a rear suspension member (21) is crushed and deformed together with a rear side member (11) and the like, whereby collision energy is absorbed. Deformation of portions other than the arm portion (26A) of the rear suspension member (21) which are positioned in a high-strength region (S2) of the vehicle body strength distribution is suppressed, whereby a heavy electrical component (30) mounted in the high-strength region is protected. |
