COSMETIC COMPOSITION CONTAINING AILANTHI RADICIS CORTEX EXTRACT AND GALIUM VERUM EXTRACT FOR ANTI-AGING AND WHITENING

The present invention relates to an anti-aging and skin whitening cosmetic composition containing ailanthi radicis cortex extract and galium verum extract, wherein the ailanthi radicis cortex extract and galium verum extract have superior effects in expression of collagen, TIMP-1, and tropoelastine, and inhibition of expression of MMP-1, tyrosinase, and MMP-MITF gene so as to be employed as anti-aging and skin whitening cosmetic compositions in beneficial manners. The ailanthi radicis cortex extract and galium verum extract are manufactured by extraction using at least one extracting solvent selected from the group consisting of water, anhydrous or water-containing C1-C4 alcohol, ethyl acetate, acetone, glycerin, ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, and butylene glycol.
