PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optic device of which an electro-optic panel can be surely sealed while suppressing a cost increase, and to provide a projection display apparatus including the electro-optic device.SOLUTION: An electro-optic device 50 includes a rim-like ceramic package 80 surrounding an electro-optic panel 40. The ceramic package 80 and a plate-like first sealing substrate 60 are bonded to each other with a first bonding material 91 made of an inorganic material, and the ceramic substrate 80 and a plate-like second sealing substrate 70 are bonded to each other with a second bonding material 92 made of an inorganic material. The ceramic package 80 is provided with an internal terminal 882 electrically connected to a terminal 402 of the electro-optic panel 40 in the inside thereof, and an external terminal 881 provided in the outside thereof. The internal terminal 882 and the external terminal 881 are electrically connected via a wiring portion 89 penetrating the ceramic package 80. |
