<p>Disclosed are an exception processing method and device for forwarding of a short message. The method comprises: detecting an exception of forwarding of a short message; and according to a centralized disaster recovery processing policy, processing the short message, wherein the centralized disaster recovery processing policy comprises at least one of the following: in a simple mode, refusing a short message or continuing to process the short message locally, in a main-standby mode, when an SMSC is exceptional, forwarding the short message to a standby forwarding SMSC, in a caching mode, when the SMSC is exceptional, caching the short message locally, and after the forwarding SMSC is recovered from the exception, forwarding the short message to the forwarding SMSC, and in the main-standby mode and caching mode, when a main forwarding SMSC is exceptional, forwarding the short message to the standby SMSC, if the standby SMSC is exceptional, caching the short message, and after the main forwarding SMSC is recovered from the exception, forwarding the short message to the SMSC. The embodiments of the present invention solve the problems of low reliability and poor stability of a short-message forwarding service system.</p> |
