<p>Provided are an information processing method and device, which relate to the technical field of electronic information, realize the control of application programs in an electronic device, and expand the functions of a wire control earphone. The method specifically comprises: receiving a trigger signal after a key of the wire control earphone is triggered; according to the trigger signal, playing first speech information; detecting whether a first duration of the key of the wire control earphone being triggered is greater than a preset threshold value; and when detecting that the first duration is less than the preset threshold value, executing an operation matching the first speech information.
