<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for measuring the weight of a lifting body of an elevator which improves workability in installing a weight measurement device in a hoistway, suppresses the number of constituent members of the weight measurement device, enables measurement without damage of the main rope and is applicable, independently of the roping.SOLUTION: A method of measuring the weight of a lifting body is typically for an elevator having a main rope 4 which hoists and lowers a car 5 and a balance weight 9 in the mutually opposite direction by hoisting and lowering a first upper frame 6 holding the car 5 and a second upper frame 10 holding the balance weight in the mutually opposite direction. Specifically, the weight of the balance weight 9 is measured by attaching a bracket 14a extending in the direction of the balance weight 9 to the first upper frame 6, arranging a weight measurement instrument 14b on the bracket 14a and causing the balance weight 9 to descend so as to press the weight measurement instrument 14b.</p> |
