Provided are: an OCT optical probe that is capable of reducing the reflected light that occurs at the interface region between the optical fiber and the lensed fiber; and a manufacturing method therefor. The OCT optical probe (10A) is provided with an optical fiber (22) for transmitting irradiated light and reflected and scattered light, and a lensed fiber (11), which is fused to the end face (22d) of the optical fiber (22) and is for collimating and emitting irradiated light into a living body and for collecting reflected and scattered light and guiding same to the end face (22d) of the optical fiber (22). A refractive index-adjusting material is added to the lensed fiber (11) and said refractive index-adjusting material is diffused into the end (22B) of the optical fiber (22). |
