The purpose of the present invention is to provide a compact image forming device that has a transporting unit wherein paper jams can be easily handled. An image forming device comprises a first guide that forms a transport route extending vertically through which a sheet passes and that rotates around a lower fulcrum in association with a door being opened and a second guide that forms the transporting channel along with the first guide and that can rotate when the door is opened. The second guide moves away from the fulcrum in association with the door being opened. |
