The present invention relates to an apparatus for providing a weather service utilizing observed information having different cycles. In accordance with one embodiment, the apparatus for providing the weather service is capable of collecting first observed information transmitted in a first cycle, and second observed information transmitted in a second cycle which is relatively shorter than the first cycle, generating weather service information in the second cycle, and supplying the weather service information to a user device in the second cycle when the weather service information is generated. A variety of information as being transmitted in different cycles as above is utilized. At this time, the weather service information is supplied on the basis of the observed information having the cycle which is relatively shorter, so that more rapid and accurate weather service information can be supplied. |
