The present invention provides an attachable and detachable handle for cookware, wherein a structure is simple. To achieve this, a standard arc member; a moving arc member opposed to the standard arc member; a main handle body; a moving handle body; a shaft for a ratchet gear; a pair of standard jaws and moving jaws formed by facing each other; a ratchet gear fixedly installed on the shaft for a ratchet gear; a ratchet which is rotated to one direction in a state of being interlocked with the ratchet gear, and which is locked not to be rotated to an opposite direction; a ratchet operation lever; a first compression spring triggering the ratchet operation lever; and a slide locking frame locking the ratchet operation lever or unlocking the ratchet operation lever to seesaw.
